Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This page explains what talkcuts ("we") collects and what we do with it. It is short on purpose. If anything is unclear, email rajman@talkcuts.com.
What we collect
- What you send us: your name, your email address and the link to your episode. Today this reaches us as an email you send.
- Your episode: the video or audio file we download from your link (or you upload, once the app opens), and the transcript we make from it.
- Server logs: our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard logs (such as IP address, browser and the pages asked for) to run and protect the site.
This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking or advertising scripts.
Why we use it
- To make your clips and send them to you.
- To answer your emails, and to tell you when the self-serve app opens if you asked us for clips.
We do not sell your data, we do not post anything on your accounts, and we do not use your episode to train AI models.
Who helps us
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Zoho Mail handles our email.
- An AI language model provider (OpenAI or Meta) receives the text of the transcript, not the video, to help choose the moments.
The transcript itself is made on our own computers.
How long we keep things
- Episode files: deleted within 7 days after your clips are made.
- Clips and transcripts: deleted within 30 days after we send your clips, unless you ask us to keep them for later episodes.
- Emails: kept so we can reply and follow up, until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete anything we hold about you. Email rajman@talkcuts.com and we will do it within 30 days. If you live in the UK, the EU or another place with data-protection law, you can also complain to your local regulator.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. Before the self-serve app opens, we will update this page to cover accounts and payments.
